Our team

Ffalabalam was established in 2006 by Mrs Bethan Griffiths and Mrs Menna Jones. As parents and experienced teachers their aim was to create a child care setting that would provide care of the highest quality for babies and children in a safe, homely and stimulating environment.

The management and our team of dedicated and experienced staff work hard to create a welcoming setting where children are nurtured and encouraged to learn and develop at their own pace. With carefully planned fun filled activities throughout the day each member of staff ensure that every child has the best possible start in life.

Ffalabalam’s team of staff are supported by the management team:

The Owners / Directors – Bethan Griffiths and Menna Jones

Deputy Manager and senior key worker –Eleri Griffiths who has gained her Level 5 qualification in 2013

Our team of experienced senior key workers – Non Jones, Ellen Williams, Bethan Jones, Lowri Pointer, Eleri Griffiths and Mari Pritchard are all highly qualified and knowledgeable individuals and are qualified to NVQ, CACHE, Btec Level 3 or higher.

All our staff hold current DBS certificates and all staff members receive Pediatric First Aid Training, Food Hygiene Level 2 and Child Protection awareness training.

We also employ full time qualified cooks – Amy Jones  who have a wealth of experience in catering and provide balanced, nutritious meals for all the children who attend the nursery, after school club and holiday club.

Ffalablam has been awarded a certificate ‘Best practice for Early Years Setting’  for our food and drink provision.  Ffalabalam has been approved by BCUHB Public Health dieticians.
